WHO WE ARE

We are Esther, Tatjana, Mireia and Cecilie, a team of passionate AcroYoga teachers who love bringing people together through movement, play and connection. Esther, Tatjana and Mireia each started their own journey of sharing AcroYoga with families in their communities. Cecilie, a Family AcroYoga teacher, yoga teacher and physiotherapist, joined the team and brought her experience and knowledge to help develop our teacher training programme.

We all have our own ways of teaching and sharing AcroYoga, and we believe that this mix of ideas, experiences and styles makes our community stronger and richer. In 2016, Esther had a dream of creating a strong international community of Family AcroYoga teachers. Tatjana and Mireia joined her in making this dream a reality, and together they organised the first European Family AcroYoga Teacher Training in June 2017.

Since then, we have organised nine international teacher trainings and certified more than 100 Family AcroYoga teachers around the world! Along the way, we have also organised workshops, retreats and gatherings, and our community keeps growing.

OUR VISION

We believe everyone can fly! And we love helping families discover just how much fun it is to move, play and fly together.

Family AcroYoga is all about connection: building trust, learning to communicate, supporting each other and sharing moments of joy. It brings children and adults together through movement, play and a little bit of adventure. Family AcroYoga combines yoga, partner acrobatics, flying, massage and playful games. Through these activities, children and adults get to explore movement, build confidence, discover what their bodies can do and, most importantly, have fun together.

But our dream goes beyond individual workshops. We want to bring people together and help Family AcroYoga communities grow all around the world. By connecting teachers, families and practitioners, we can share ideas, learn from each other and inspire more people to bring the joy of Family AcroYoga into their lives.

Let’s play, connect and fly together!
